Bitcoin & Beer - v0027

Lots of news in the last week coming out of Bitcoin 2022 conference in Miami Beach! Several Old City Bitcoiners were in attendance! Come to Bitcoin & Beer to come share your experience! All the sessions are posted online! Did you have a favorite? Come discuss and drink some beer with local Bitcoiners!

There were several announcements including Jack Mallers (watch the video) who partnered with Shopify to enable Bitcoin/Lightning payments through that software. How many existing websites out there use Shopify? In addition, he's partnered with Point-of-Sale providers to enable Bitcoin/Lightning payments at millions of storefronts in America! Bullish! One wonders how Bitcoin nay-sayers will deal with this development! Hahaha!

What about the Blockstream announcement where they're creating a solar and battery-powered Bitcoin mining farm? There are sure to be lots of passionate people with something to say about that topic!!
